A Brotherhood of Locomotive Engineers (BLE) was the labor organization created in the 1800s and had members in the Eastern half of the United States and parts of Canada. Conductors were respire to enter, however a union was non specialized to treat by having their issues. A United Transportation Union (UTU) wanted to sell out the engineers' jobs and so a conductors may utilize remote trains within train yards. A BLE in time merged sustaining a Teamsters to become a Brotherhood of Locomotive Engineers & Trainmen (BLET).
